Deniz Sak, founder of LAX, is an interior designer and a landscape architect from İstanbul.
Following her master's degree in Interior Design from NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano, she took part in several competitions, including YAP MAXXI & exhibitions in Italy, mainly in Triennale di Milano, Fabbrica del Vapore and Design Week '12 & Design Week '13, both solo and in groups.
She moved to United States for her art studies in year 2016 and took lectures at Harvard University and MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in ACT, MIT programme in Art, Culture & Technology. Apart from her architectural practices, she's also been working as an independent artist.
Amidst her interior and architectural practice over the past 12 years, she has been involved in many international projects, in Italy, Kosovo, Kuwait, Maldives, Republic of Congo, Turkey and the United States, mainly focused on hospitality and wellness areas.
In 2020, she has decided to create a multi-disciplinary space, where she could blend her architectural experience with art & design which led to LAX.
